The City of Alamo has taken a significant step toward enhancing community interaction and accessibility to city services with the launch of the City of Alamo Citizen Engagement App. According to the City of Alamo News, this app serves as a comprehensive platform for residents to stay informed, access city services, and report neighborhood concerns. Available for download on both the App Store and Google Play, the app aims to streamline communication between the city and its citizens, offering features such as updates on city news, events, and road conditions, as well as job opportunities within city departments.

In other news, residents in the vicinity of Citrus Avenue and Birch Avenue should prepare for a temporary disruption in water service. The City of Alamo has issued a CodeRed Alert due to a water line break repair scheduled for today, August 24th. The repair work is expected to last approximately four hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to contact City Hall or the Public Works Department for further assistance.

On the cultural front, the Sergeant Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library is offering free golf lessons to the community.
